MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University Police Department is the recipient of a $300,000 grant aimed at curbing sexual assault cases on the campus, as well as helping survivors.
University Police plans to implement prevention programming, bystander intervention, ongoing training to law enforcement on effective response, 24-hour confidential victim services and advocacy, and staff training.
Mosaic Life Care will also receive $45,000 to hire a sexual assault nurse examiner.
